New Patch 8.0 for Saral TaxOffice 2009 has been released on 05th August 2009. Release notes are given here for your reference.
Release Note for Saral Tax Office
Income Tax
- Provision for Notes and Attachments provided - Entry is provided at the bottom of left hand side grid - The same notes can be printed at the end of STI reports on selecting print option for each entry
- Automatic backup is created before file updation to avoid loss of data if file is corrupted. This feature is only implemented for Access backend, in coming version the same will be given in SQL backend.
- Bank Master link given in Self asst tax and advance tax and dividend distribution tax screens for ease entry.
- Auto Filter option provided at the top of the grid of select assessee for filtering the assessee on each item
- PAN ported to Verification of ITR only in the case of Individual
- if Tax payable is pending in IT, FBT and DDT then warning message is given while generation of e-Return and ITR Forms
- 234C checked in all respect and enhanced
- ITR7 Reported issues solved
- Capital Account and Statement of Affairs enhanced with porting additional details

- In address field if any attempt to entry is made then the form is popped out for easy navigation
Audit Reports
- Firm name in 3CB made editable
- Detailed buttons for all items enabled
Balance Sheet
- New ITR screen is given under Master after the selection of Link to ITR option in option setting screen
- Loading time of ledger master screen is reduced
- Minor screen design changes in ledger master & group master screen
- Navigation from ledger master screen to ITR linking screen is given
- Option is given to port Opening balance in Tally porting screen
- In ITR Linking screen saving option is given for incomplete Linking of ITR Groups
- Restricting the Tally & Excel porting of reserve & surplus ledgers to ledger master when reserve & surplus option is enabled in option setting
- Option to Print Auditor details in P & l a/c or balance sheet on right side or left side is given in report preview screen
- ITR option & ITR group name column is removed from ledger master screen
- Hiding of ledgers details in P& L A/c & Balance Sheet for which only opening balance is seen
- Porting of share capital details to selected ITR groups
