New Patch 11.0 for Saral TaxOffice 2009 has been released on 17th September 2009. Release notes are given here for your reference.
Release Note for Saral Tax Office
Income Tax
- Asst Year 2010 - 2011 enabled with budget changes
- Audit report option provided in IncomeTax with exporting option from ITR BS and PL schedules to respecitve fields in AR.
- Wealth Tax module attached to IT.
- File No. filled default with Client ID.
- Due date default value set if left blank.
- Ordering of “Tab Key” for data entry has been handled in almost all the major screens.
- Verification screen PAN accepts only Individual PAN, and will be filled by default for only Individual Assessees.
- Sharpness of 3 Dotted buttons in all the grids increased to make it more clearly visible.
- Registration screen prompt removed while opening of child exe's if STO is unregistered.
- Income Tax backup/restore buttons removed if opened from STO.
- 2 Asset Names changed in LTCG for clear understanding.
- Partner to Salary screen added with a new field for unabsorbed losses.
- Missing Mandatory fields to be shown separately as errors and warnings.
- If Schedule PL 43 + 52D value is not equal to BP Net & Profit then an warning is shown in missing mandatory details.
- If Schedule PL 43 + 52D value is not equal to BP Net & Profit then an warning is shown in missing mandatory details.
- If No data found in schedule AIR then an warning is shown in missing mandatory details.
- Index factor for year 2009-10 applied.
IT Reports
- Lengthier schedules in new page enabled in menus.
- New Assessee Report in Additional reports given with both quick and excel options.
Audit Reports
- Opening of Audit report from IT - Option can be found in Income Tax -> Audit Report -> Open Audit Report.
- Porting of ITR details like BS , P&L to audit report - Option can be found in Income Tax -> Audit Report -> Export data from IT to AR.
- Some Bug fixes.
Wealth Tax
- Wealth Tax inclusion in IT & Budget Changes for 2010-11.
Balance Sheet
- Share capital Screen - For Company.
- Share capital schedule report.
- Printing of Partner, Propriator & director details with trading name.
- Bug fixing in reserve & surplus screen.
- Bug fixing in report.
- Schedule VI balance sheet and Profit and loss account for companies is given.
- Sub schedule linking made simpler for sundry creditor and sundry debitor.
- Schedule selection made simpler in Schedule VI Entry screen. Press Insert key to select the schedule that is selected in the above row and use delete key to remove the selected schedule.

- Click Master then click on Schedule VI Entry menu.
- Link all listed ledgers to respective sub Schedule.
- For Sundry Debtors/Creditor click on three dotted button for Group Linking.
- After linking all the ledgers to their Sub Schedules, Click on Schedule Numbering button.
- Schedule Numbering screen will get opened.
- Click on Auto Set for auto setting Schedule Number(Numerical/AlphaNumeric).
- Close Schedule Numbering screen.
- Click View -> Schedule VI View -> Balance Sheet for Schedule VI view of Balance Sheet/Profit & Loss A/c.
- For report Click on Report Menu -> Schedule VI Reports -> Balance Sheet/Profit & Loss A/c.
General
- Adding of SQLServer in firewall exceptions while installation
- While click on backup/restore don’t take auto backup
- SQL : Previous vrs backup files restored/opened in new version of SQL, change in password ( reladmin to reladmin@123 ).
- While restoring backup file with new name, no need to prompt message "If data found it wil overwrite …….."
- Provision to take backup on desktop and drives
- Provision for Client Wise backup to restore in a new file
